2024 Leadership Forum: FAQs

The 2024 Out & Equal Leadership Forum will take place from Monday, March 25 through Thursday, March 27 at the MGM National Harbor.

For those who have already registered, please contact registration@outandequal.org at least 30-days prior to the event to update your registration. 

This event is exclusive to Out & Equal Partner organizations at the Titanium, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper levels.    

Due to the high-demand of Leadership Forum, registration is limited. If interested, individuals can join a waiting list to secure a spot as soon as availability opens up by emailing registration@outandequal.org.

In a moment when the LGBTQ+ community deserves progress, we are transforming this highly sought-after event by elevating our agenda to meet and define the challenges and opportunities of this moment.   

By refining our program tracks to more intentionally focusing on developing effective inclusive leadership behaviors and proven strategies for all levels of an organization, we hope to propel LGBTQ+ equity forward in measurable and lasting ways, and at a time when that amplification is needed most.   

To effectively engage and empower change agents and to maximize belonging, which is inclusive of LGBTQ+ talent at all levels, Executive Forum has been fully reimagined as Leadership Forum.  

Leadership Forum will kick-off on Monday, March 25^th with our welcoming reception at 5:00 PM. Sessions begin on Tuesday, March 26^th with breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks each day and will conclude with our Momentum Reception Wednesday, March 27^th 6:00pm–8:00pm. We have incredible Plenary presentations scheduled during Breakfast and Lunch both days with our 5 Tracks running concurrently when not in Plenary sessions. Tuesday night is on your own to enjoy the time together however you choose!

Given the exclusivity of Leadership Forum, space for each track will be limited. We encourage you to register for the Forum as soon as possible and select your desired track

By attending Leadership Forum, participants will benefit from:   

• Networking, learning sessions, and immersive experiences designed to connect change agents with the leadership skills and behaviors essential for building cultures of inclusion and belonging.  
• Insights and conversations that provide an understanding of cutting-edge and promising LGBTQ+ DEIB workplace practices and thought leadership.  
• Establishing and expanding a rich network of collaborators all committed to advancing LGBTQ+ representation, inclusion, and equity in the workplace and beyond.  

Launched in 2023, Federal Government Day is a full day of programming that takes place in conjunction with Out & Equal’s annual Leadership Forum (formerly Executive Forum).   

Federal Government Day convenes Federal Government Employees, agency stakeholders, and leading government change agents to examine the challenges and emerging best practices for LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion and belonging.   

Due to uncertainties related to the possible government shutdown in March, further informed by conversations with anticipated attendees, we have made the decision to decouple Federal Government Day from our annual Leadership Forum event and reschedule this important convening to this Summer, during or adjacent to DC Pride in June.
