Out & Equal exists to help LGBTQ people thrive at work and to support organizations in creating better workplace culture where everyone feels like they belong. With that in mind, we are excited to invite you to participate in our Out & Equal Community Engagement Groups! Leveraging the historical power of in-person Summit round-table discussions and ongoing, dynamic virtual connection during the global health pandemic, these new Out & Equal Community Engagement groups will provide an important mechanism for people to maintain and grow connections and relationships with professionals of like-identities, share common challenges and strategies, and inspire each other through individual stories. 

These virtual groups will leverage the same technology and format (Zoom break out rooms) as the wildly popular Summit virtual networking events and are being convened for Out & Equal partner companies and special guests only, which will help ensure a safe space for dialogue. Out & Equal will host these conversations with special expert-leader co-hosts, who will further bolster the dialogue with special insight, practices and stories from the “field” of where companies’ DEI machines and their people intersect. This engagement aims to provide a space to connect, network and be your authentic self, year-round, not just at Summit! The following Community Engagement Groups will kick-off in 2022 (additional groups will be added in the coming months):

We will host 3-4 zoom meetings per group annually, culminating with our in-person roundtable meetings at Summit. Zoom sessions will have hosts/co-hosts who will pose multiple questions for smaller group break-out discussions. Opportunities for connection, networking and possible Summit collaborations will be provided. This opportunity is only open to employees of our partner companies and special invite by Out & Equal. You will be required to self-identify with the group you wish to join in order to gain access. We are looking forward to seeing the great pipeline of talent that will come through from our partners!
