Out & Equal works closely with our Business Inclusion Councils, consisting of local business leaders and community leaders around the world, to curate relevant content for multilingual toolkits and guides, host workplace inclusion forums and business roundtables, and support organizations to cultivate cultures of belonging.
LATAM Forum
In a vastly diverse region such as LATAM, the landscape for LGBTQ+ equality ranges from significant legal, social and economic advancements – such as decriminalization, marriage equality, and transgender legal recognition—to grave obstacles like violence and social exclusion. Out & Equal began working with companies and key stakeholders in Brazil in 2017 and has since expanded to work in partnership with organizations across Latin America to create workplaces where everyone belongs.

Southern States Forum
The American South is rich with both challenges and opportunities for those passionate about LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion. While headlines blare the very real stories of damage done by lawmakers intent on undermining LGBTQ+ equality, there are other stories not making the front page—stories of courage, of compassion, and of leadership across the South. The LGBTQ+ community across the South is the most racially diverse, the most religious, and in many respects faces the most complex landscape of seeming contradictions.

With some of the largest populations and economies in the world, the APAC region has a major influence on global business priorities and goals. While the legal, economic, and social realities for LGBTQ+ people vary depending on geographic location, the business community has steadily continued to embrace and develop innovative workplace inclusion initiatives as part of their organization’s mission. Out & Equal began working with corporate and community partners in China and India in 2017 and has since expanded to work in partnership with organizations across APAC to create workplaces where everyone belongs.
