Analicia joined the team at Out & Equal in June 2016 after graduating from California State University, Chico with a degree in Multicultural and Gender Studies. Prior to Out & Equal, Analicia worked at the AS Gender and Sexuality Equity Center at CSUC as the Women’s Program Coordinator. In this position, she led a team of interns in the planning of events such as Take Back the Night and the annual Women’s Conference, and worked toward the empowerment of all people, especially those in marginalized communities. Analicia is passionate about activism and social justice, and she strives toward the goal of intersectionality and equity for all. Originally from San Diego, Analicia now lives in a magic house in Oakland and enjoys exploring nature, finding great vegan spots to eat, and watching movies with her partner.
