Under Out & Equal’s Q3 theme of The Future of Work, the Q3 installment of the Southern States Forum brought together hundreds of LGBTQ and ally professionals to share Southern perspectives on LGBTQ workplace inclusion with a focus on how they can shape the future of their own workplaces by strategically sharing their own narratives.
As part of the event, Out & Equal launched our newest resource, “Your Story. Your Truth. Your Power.” The event featured remarks from two corporate partners, PepsiCo and Clorox, and a deep dive into the resource, which focuses on the importance and impact of storytelling in the workplace. Participants took away practical guidance on being able to cultivate and share their own narrative to push for greater LGBTQ inclusion in the workplace.
Highlights from the day
This is a pivotal moment. Workplaces must decide how they will adapt to the future of work and create cultures that are more inclusive for everyone.
