Rolddy Leyva was previously the Vice President, Global Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging for Capital One, a Fortune 500 company with nearly 50,000 associates serving tens of millions of customers from offices in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, India and the Philippines.
In his role as Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging for Capital One, he and his teams partner with Capital One’s HR and business leaders to develop and deploy innovative practices and leading edge solutions to advance the company’s D&I strategy in the workplace, marketplace and communities in which we live, work and serve.
Rolddy joined Capital One in 2018 from Sodexo, the world leader in Quality of Life services, where he led global D&I for its businesses in the Americas, UK and Ireland.
Rolddy is an avid traveler who enjoys spending time in and immersing in the local cultures of the 30+ countries and regions he’s visited. His passion for diversity & inclusion includes his community involvement where he serves on the Board of Directors of Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, a global NGO serving to advance workplace awareness, equality, inclusion and belonging for LGBTQ+ people in the United States and around the world.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Rolddy immigrated to the United States in 1980 where he went on to become a graduate of the University of Central Florida. He and his partner presently reside in Washington, D.C.
