In a vastly diverse region such as Latin America (LATAM), the landscape for LGBTQ+ equality ranges from significant legal, social and economic advancements – such as decriminalization, marriage equality, and transgender legal recognition – to grave obstacles like violence and social exclusion. Out & Equal began working with companies and key stakeholders in Brazil in 2017 and has since expanded to work in partnership with organizations across Latin America to create workplaces where everyone belongs.
Out & Equal works closely with our LATAM Business Inclusion Council and other key stakeholders to produce cutting-edge toolkits and guides in Portuguese and Spanish and impactful forums and roundtables that bring together cross-sector leaders from the region to strategize together on innovative approaches to LGBTQ+ DEIB policies and practices.
