The Senate’s role in the impeachment trial cannot be understated: There can be no expiration date on accountability — accountability is essential for America’s future.  

Donald Trump failed. The domestic terrorists who stormed our Capitol failed. But we cannot turn our backs on the damage that January 6^th will continue to have on our democracy, on the people who lost their loved ones through violence and suicide, and the colossal fear instilled in our nation for years to come.  

I am proud of the way the business community has been increasingly vocal, whether for LGBTQ rights or to hold accountable those who spout lies and falsehoods about our democracy. Now, it’s the Senate’s turn.
