Overview
The 2026 Kantar‑DIVA‑Curve Report explores the lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ women and non‑binary people through the lens of health, wellbeing and safety across five countries: India, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany. Based on insights from over 3,000 respondents, the report shows that while visibility has increased, safety, dignity, and trust remain inconsistent and fragile.
Across healthcare systems, workplaces, public spaces and brand interactions, many LGBTQIA+ women and non‑binary people continue to face discrimination, dismissal and misunderstanding. These experiences shape everyday behavior — from avoiding medical care to masking identity — with cumulative impacts on mental and physical well-being.
The report highlights how surface‑level or performative inclusion falls short and calls for a shift towards structural safety: environments where respect, trust and inclusion are embedded in systems, policies and everyday interactions. Alongside documenting these realities, the report provides clear implications for brands, employers and institutions, showing how consistent, authentic inclusion can support wellbeing and drive meaningful change.
