In today’s dynamic global landscape, where workplace cultures are increasingly defined by values of inclusion and belonging, the Philippines stands as a rising beacon for LGBTQ+ progress and practice. The 2025 Philippine LGBTQ+ Gender Spectrum Forum and Leadership Symposium, presented by Out & Equal in collaboration with JPMorganChase and the Philippine Financial & Inter-Industry Pride (PFIP), is set to be a transformative event. It will equip attendees with new data, professional networks, and learning resources for practical application in their roles at work. This half-day symposium will bring together corporate thought leaders, policymakers, and advocates from diverse sectors to advance the conversation on LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion.
The forum is rooted in acknowledging and celebrating the Philippines’ rich historical journey of inclusion. From the revered Babaylan—spiritual leaders who transcended traditional gender roles—to modern expressions of LGBTQ+ identity, Filipino heritage offers a unique lens through which we can better understand, support, and empower diverse gender identities in professional spaces today. By weaving these cultural traditions with global best business practices, this event will provide participants with actionable tools and insights to enhance their workplaces and career prospects.
Sessions will explore topics such as the evolution of gender roles in Filipino society, strategies for building impactful Pride networks and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and fostering belonging for nonbinary and gender-diverse individuals. Through these discussions, participants will gain practical knowledge to lead their organizations toward greater equity and inclusivity.
