Team Out & Equal

Erin Uritus (she/her) has worked internationally to advocate for marginalized groups with a dedicated focus on equal rights, press freedom, racial equality, global education, and LGBTQ+ inclusion. 

From Europe to West Africa and the Middle East, her experience includes leading significant modernization and cultural transformation initiatives in private and public sectors and building capacity within international institutions.  

Since joining Out and Equal in early 2018 as a Board member and now as CEO, Erin has been instrumental in stewarding the organization through a period of significant transformation—public policy updates, legislative changes, and the COVID-19 pandemic—all while establishing the organization as a leader in the “Business of Belonging,” nearly tripling its staff and revenue.  

One of the only openly bisexual CEOs, she is most proud of the dynamic community of LGBTQ+ and allied leaders she works alongside. It’s through this work and community of Partners, changemakers, and advocates, that Erin has a fervent belief that despite the obstacles and challenges we may face, inclusion, belonging, respect, dignity, equality, and love will prevail.

Sarah Warbelow

Sarah Warbelow educates business leaders on evolving employment practices and legal landscapes. A nationally recognized LGBTQ+ civil rights expert, she advises lawmakers, businesses, and advocacy organizations to advance equality, and previously served as Vice President, Legal at the Human Rights Campaign, leading work across federal, state, and municipal policy, litigation, and advocacy. She is also an affiliated professor teaching civil rights law and public policy and holds a JD and MPP from the University of Michigan.

Marisol Peters brings more than 25 years of experience leading digital transformation, process improvement, cybersecurity, and enterprise program management. PMP- and CISM-certified, she holds a Master’s in Information Systems Management from NJIT and has worked across government, healthcare, supply chain, and both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including the New York Department of Health and major hospital systems. She partners with C-suite leaders to modernize technology, streamline workflows, strengthen governance, and reduce risk, and is known for building high-performing teams and scalable solutions that drive efficiency, resilience, and measurable impact. 

Jean-marie navetta

Vice President, Learning & Development

With more than 20 years of experience, she specializes in ally engagement and ERG development, and prior to joining Out & Equal, she spent 17 years at PFLAG National leading national learning initiatives, authoring multiple books, and building workplace education programs.

He specializes in strategy, growth, and designing inclusive, high-impact experiences across industries, and has served on advisory boards across destinations, vendors, and hospitality organizations. As a leader within the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), he was the first openly gay President of the Capital Chapter, where he launched the chapter’s first access and inclusion initiative.

Hill also co-founded Nat Geo Pride, National Geographic’s first employee resource group, and partnered on broader workplace inclusion initiatives across The Walt Disney Company, reflecting a strong commitment to authentic storytelling, community impact, and belonging in the workplace.
