Bi+ Community Engagement Group
Join us as we continue the magic from Summit of our closed-door roundtable discussions year-round! Out and Equal is proud to co-host our Bi+ Community Engagement Group with educator and speaker, Robyn Ochs, who crafted the definition of bisexuality that is used by many bi+ activists around the world.
Our Bi+ Community Engagement Group meets quarterly. This opportunity is only open to employees of our partner companies and special invite by Out & Equal. Due to the nature of our conversations, you will be required to self-identify with the Bi+ Community to participate.
Out and Equal recognizes the need and importance of having Bi+ specific spaces for participants to feel safe in their identity and to meet other Bi+ identifying folks. Members of the Bi+ Community are less likely to be out in the workplace than lesbian and gay peers. We look forward to welcoming to you a virtual dialogue with other Bi+ Community members to connect in conversation.
“Most bi+ people are unaccustomed to being in spaces where our identities are enthusiastically affirmed, where we can share our experiences and stories as bi+ people and be understood. That’s the power of the Bi+ Community Engagement Groups. Here, we are welcome in our wholeness. I experience this space with a sensation of homecoming.”
Robyn Ochs, Bisexual Activist and Speaker
