This site is produced by the Bisexual Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that advocates for and achieves better understanding and visibility about bisexuality through education, training and media outreach. The Bisexual Foundation raises awareness about the diversity of sexual orientation.

Bisexual Resource Center
The Bisexual Resource Center is an international organization providing education about and support for bisexual and progressive issues.

As an umbrella organization and voice for bisexual people, BiNet USA will facilitate the development of a cohesive network of bisexual communities, promote bisexual visibility, and collect and distribute educational information regarding bisexuality. To accomplish these goals, BiNet USA will provide a national network for bisexual organizations and individuals across the United States, and encourage participation and organizing on local and national levels.

GLBT Workplace Discussion Forum
Dave Hughes has been active in the corporate workplace diversity movement for over ten years. He has held various leadership roles in his company's Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender (GLBT) employee resource group, including two terms as national president. A passionate Diversity Advocate, Dave has developed and presented several workshops on the topics of Workplace Diversity and GLBT workplace issue awareness. Dave is a certified Out & Equal "Building Bridges" trainer. In this interactive blog, he posts topics to encourage discussion around workplace diversity.

Out Front Blog
This blog is designed to stimulate discussion on gay and lesbian communications issues. They focus on the issues related to gay and lesbian marketing and communications and the challenges and opportunities associated with communicating by, for, with and to this growing audience. This blog is written by three employees of Fleishman-Hillard International Communications. The three bloggers are the co-chairs of FH Out Front, the first global gay and lesbian communications practice at a major communications firm.

Transgender Workplace Diversity
This blog is for HR and Diversity professionals who are faced with issues of transgender workplace diversity. Dr. Jillian Todd Weiss discusses resources, news, and issues of importance specifically for HR and Diversity professionals who need to know the latest on this fast-developing new category of employees. Her goal is to help develop cultural competence and knowledge resources so that transgender issues and gender transition in the workplace are successful for everyone concerned.

The Gay Lesbian Straight Educators Network strives to assure that each member of all school communities is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. They provide opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and act to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

Industry Specific

The Gay & Lesbian Medical Association works to ensure equality in health care for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals and health care professionals. GLMA achieves its goals by using medical expertise in professional education, public policy work, patient education and referrals, and the promotion of research.

The National Lesbian Gay Journalists Association is an organization of journalists, media professionals, educators and students who work within the news industry to foster fair and accurate coverage of LGBT issues. NLGJA opposes all forms of workplace bias and provides professional development to its members.

The National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals is a national organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people (and their advocates) employed or interested in scientific or high technology fields. NOGLSTP's goals include educating the scientific and general communities about LGBT issues in science and the technical workplace; educating the queer community about relevant topics in science; dialogue with professional societies and associations; improving our members employment and professional environment; opposing queer phobia and stereotypes by providing role models of successful LGBT scientific and technical professionals; and fostering networking and mentoring among our members.

Pride at Work
National Pride At Work is affiliated as a constituency group of the AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations.) The purpose of Pride At Work is to mobilize mutual support between the organized Labor Movement and the LGBT Community around organizing for social and economic justice.

The Center's mission is to advocate equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals in Pennsylvania through direct legal services, education and policy reform.

Lambda Legal
Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.

National Center for Lesbian Rights
The National Center for Lesbian Rights is a national legal organization committed to advancing the legal and human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their families through litigation, public policy advocacy, and public education.

Transgender Law Center
The Transgender Law Center (TLC) is a civil rights organization advocating for transgender communities. They connect transgender people and their families to technically sound and culturally competent legal services, increase acceptance and enforcement of laws and policies that support California's transgender communities, and work to change laws and systems that fail to incorporate the needs and experiences of transgender people.

The Reaching Out LGBT MBA Student Conference is the annual gathering of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) graduate business school students from all over the world. The organization is dedicated to promoting the acceptance and visibility of LGBT businesspeople and their interests in the workplace. National Multi-issue or Political Organizations

Funders for Lesbian and Gay Issues
Funders for Lesbian and Gay Issues was formed in 1982 as the Working Group on Funding Lesbian and Gay Issues in response to the lack of visibility and funding for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues in the philanthropic community. They are the only national organization whose mission is to advocate for increased support of LGBT issues within organized philanthropy.

Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.

Human Rights Campaign
The Human Rights Campaign works to achieve gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. By inspiring and engaging all Americans, HRC strives to end discrimination against GLBT citizens and realize a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all. HRC seeks to improve the lives of GLBT Americans by advocating for equal rights and benefits in the workplace, ensuring families are treated equally under the law and increasing public support among all Americans through innovative advocacy, education and outreach programs.

National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce
The NGLCC is committed to forming a broad-based coalition, representative of the various interests of LGBT owned and friendly businesses, professionals, and students of business for the purpose of promoting economic growth and prosperity of its members.

National Gay & Lesbian Task Force
The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, Inc., works to build the grassroots political power of the LGBT community to win complete equality. They do this through direct and grassroots lobbying to defeat anti-LGBT ballot initiatives and legislation and pass pro-LGBT legislation and other measures. They also analyze and report on the positions of candidates for public office on issues of importance to the LGBT community.

Gender, Identity, and New Developments in Employment Law
A resource for attorneys and advocates working to create discrimination-free workplaces for transgender employees. A joint publication of the The Legal Aid Society, Employment Law Center, and the National Center for Lesbian Rights.

National Center for Transgender Equality
The National Center for Transgender Equality is a social justice organization dedicated to advancing the equality of transgender people through advocacy, collaboration and empowerment.

Transgender Employment Links
A website tracking links to information about transitioning on the job and other issues transsexual and transgender workers and their employers may face, representing the transsexual worker's point of view, and offering advice from professionals. Several pages of legal resources, from both the United States and Europe, are listed. Also included are sites that provide mail order service for relevant books.

Transgender at Work
The Transgender at Work (TAW) project is a focal point for addressing workplace issues for the transgender. TAW provides resources for innovative employers who want to set their company employment policies to help their transgender employees to be at their most productive, without spending energy hiding an important part of themselves and pretending to be something they are not.
