Emmy Award-winning entertainer joins Summit speaker lineup

Famed entertainer Leslie Jordan—known for his roles in "Sordid Lives" and "Will & Grace"—is the latest to join the lineup at the 2009 Out & Equal Workplace Summit, the world's premier conference on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender workplace equality.

With hundreds of television shows, films, and commercials to his credit, Jordan has become a familiar face on the entertainment scene. Audiences will recognize him from his performance as Brother Boy in Del Shores' play and subsequent film and television adaptations of “Sordid Lives.”

Jordan has enjoyed success on "Will & Grace," where his portrayal of Beverley Leslie lead to his 2006 Emmy Award win. Television audiences will also remember him for his recurring roles on “Privileged,” “Ugly Betty,” “Boston Legal” and “Reba.”

He joins an impressive list of Summit speakers that includes Sharon L. Movement leaders from organizations on the United ENDA Steering Committee will discuss the status of the fully inclusive federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act and other key LGBT legislative initiatives. Bring your own brown bag lunch.
