Overview

The Town Call series features guest speakers presenting on current LGBT topics via monthly one hour webinars. They also provide in-depth information on major Out & Equal such as the annual Workplace Summit. Each session includes a presentation or discussion on issues faced by LGBT employees, polices, benefits, trends or breaking news. A Q&A session follows each presentation, creating an interactive learning experience. The Town Calls are designed to further the knowledge and tools for Employee/Business Resource Group members, HR Professionals, and Executives as well as meeting the needs of busy working professionals, federal, and non-profit employees. These calls are also recorded and can be used at LGBT events and meetings for training within your organization.

LGBT Executives Speak Out!

There are times, when we walk into a new job and look around to see who might be LGBT or an ally before deciding whether or not to come out at work. How would you feel or react to finding out that one of the top executives in your company is LGBT?  Does it make a difference? Join us during this Pride month as we ask those top executives about their experiences, what it took to come out and how they navigated their careers to the top being LGBT. We will discuss how allies and mentors make a difference in how we do on the job and get some tips from the top on what are the best ways to integrate all of who you are into the job!
