Over 2,500 Expected for the World’s Premier Workplace Equality Event!
September 24, 2012: Executives, human resources and diversity professionals, employee resource groups and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and allies will gather in Baltimore, Maryland, from October 29 ‐ November 1 to consider ways to advance workplace equality. The Out & Equal Workplace Summit draws over 2,500 attendees from dozens of countries to share strategies and best practices to create workplace equality for all, inclusive of all sexual orientations, gender identities, expressions, and characteristics. The event is sponsored by 126 corporations, including presenting sponsors IBM and Hewlett‐Packard.
“The Summit is an opportunity to learn, teach, network and have fun with kindred spirits. Together, we will move out from Baltimore, creating the ripples that will build respectful and inclusive workplaces around the globe,” said Out & Equal’s Founding Executive Director Selisse Berry.

Judy Shepard ‐ Since her son's murder in a notorious anti‐gay hate crime in Laramie, Wyoming, Judy has been a tireless advocate for equality.
Zach Wahls ‐ Addressed the Iowa House Judiciary Committee in support of gay marriage when he was only 19 years old.
The Summit includes over 120 workshops, 12 powerful featured panels, plus luncheons, leadership seminars, networking opportunities, and a film series will round out the week’s events.
