October 18, 2011- With over 2,500 participants from 29 countries expected to attend, the Out & Equal Workplace Summit deserves its international reputation as the premier conference on LGBT issues in the workplace. The Workplace Summit, now in its 12th year, features plenary events, featured panels, workshops, leadership seminars, a Gala Dinner, and more.

The Out & Equal Workplace Summit has a proud legacy of keynote addresses from lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and ally celebrities and business leaders.
This year, Out & Equal will welcome Andy Cohen, Bravo’s Senior Vice President; Donna Brazile, renowned political strategist and commentator; LZ Granderson, ESPN anchor and CNN correspondent; Rick Welts, President of the Golden State Warriors; and celebrities/activists Meredith Baxter, Margaret Cho, Candis Cayne, and Wilson Cruz.
Dynamic business and political speakers will include Mike Ullman, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, JCPenney; Wes Bush, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President, Northrup Grumman; Sander van ‘t Noordende, Group Chief Executive, Accenture; Paul Bell, President of the Public & Large Enterprise Business Units, Dell; Kathy Martinez, Assistant Secretary for Disability Employment Policy; and Joel Burns, Ft. Worth City Councilman.
Special topic luncheons include the Human Resources Luncheon with Ambassador Barry L. Wells, Director of the Office of Civil Rights and Diversity, and the Women’s Leadership Luncheon with Geri Jewell, author of I’m Walking As Straight As I Can and “cousin Geri” on the Facts of Life.
The Out & Equal Workplace Summit takes place at the Hilton Anatole, from October 25th-28th.
