About this Regional Affiliate Out & Equal Greater Portland/Southwest Washington was founded in October 2007. As an extension of the national Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, the Greater Portland/SW Washington Regional Affiliate promotes LGBT workplace equality and energizes local employee resources groups and members through sharing best practices, leveraging tools and content from other regional affiliates, and providing a forum for professional networking. As a collaborative network of local companies supporting LGBT equality, we serve as a resource to Oregon and SW Washington corporate ERGs in their efforts to advance workplace equality.
