Tuesday October 2nd 


Reel In The Closet | 9:30AM – 10:30AM

Experience what it was like to be LGBTQ in decades past through the eyes of those behind the camera. Reel In The Closet is a documentary that reveals the real lives of everyday LGBTQ people of the past through the best moments from hundreds of never before seen home movies shot by our community dating as far back as 1930’s! These films make clear that we are actually more alike than we are different.

Dangerous Living | 2:00PM – 3:30PM

Dangerous Living: Coming Out in the Developing World is the first documentary to deeply explore the lives of gay and lesbian people in non-western cultures. By sharing the personal stories coming out of developing nations, Dangerous Living sheds light on an emerging global movement striving to end discrimination and violence against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.

Becoming Johanna | 4:00PM – 5:30PM

How does it feel when your mom prays everyday for you to be someone else? That’s the struggle Johanna, a 16 year old transgender Latina faces. At first her mom thinks she’s confused, or joking, but as Johanna’s transformation continues, her mom simply can’t handle the fact that her son is Becoming Johanna.

Wednesday October 3rd


Gen Silent (25 min) | 9:00AM – 10:00AM

Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender people who fought the first battles for equal rights now face fear of discrimination, religious objection, bullying and even abuse. Many are hiding their identities and going back into the closet. Thousands are dying earlier than their straight counterparts because they are afraid to ask for help but a growing number of people are fighting to keep their elders SAFE.

After Stonewall | 11:00AM – 12:30PM

After Stonewall, the sequel to Before Stonewall, chronicles the history of lesbian and gay life from the riots at Stonewall to the end of the century. Narrated by Melissa Etheridge, it captures the hard work, struggles, tragic defeats and exciting victories experienced during this time, and it explores how AIDS dramatically changed the direction of the movement.

COBY (1 hr 20min)  | 4:00PM – 5:30PM

Small town smack in the American Midwest. Coby’s  transformation deeply disrupts the lives of all who love Coby. Ultimately, Coby’s chrysalis becomes the one of a whole family compelled to modify their own perspective. Not only a physical metamorphosis is at stake but also a spiritual one that eventually takes place under the director’s luminous and unexpected eye.


Thursday October 4th


Before Homosexuals  | 10:30AM – 12:00PM

Before Homosexuals is a documentary film that guides us on a wondrous tour of erotic history, poetry and visual art in this point-of-view documentary on same-sex desire from ancient times to Victorian crimes. He explores how the sexual revolution of the 1960s and the growth of LGBT political power in the 1990s cleared the path for artists and scholars to re-discover pre-20th century same-sex desires. With dozens of experts he revels in lesbian love spells from ancient Rome, censored chapters of the Kamasutra, Native American two-spirit rituals and more.

Freedom to Marry (1 hr 26min)  | 2:00PM – 3:30PM

Before Homosexuals takes the viewer on a wondrous tour of same-sex desire from ancient times to Victorian crimes. Inspired by gay liberation, historians and artists.
