2013 Workplace Summit Volunteer Opportunities

Out & Equal’s annual Workplace Summit is the largest conference of its kind, providing a platform to network, share best practices, and formulate strategies for the creation and sustainability of LGBT equality in the workplace. That said, it takes a lot to put on the Summit each and every year, and there are plenty of ways to become involved as a volunteer at this annual event.

Volunteers assist with a range of activities at Summit. These assignments could include customer-service detail at the Out & Equal Engagement Center, plenary setup and teardown, and registration assistance. During the application process, volunteers are prompted to indicate areas of interest; it is our hope that each volunteer feels supported and fulfilled in their service.

At Summit, you may volunteer in two capacities: as an individual volunteer or as a corporate team with 10-30 volunteers from one organization.
