2011 Workplace Summit Gala

Out & Equal Workplace Summit Gala Dinner
Thursday, October 27, 2011
7:30-10:30 pm

Join us at the 2011 Out & Equal Workplace Summit Gala Dinner for a night of celebration and entertainment.

This year’s Gala Dinner is sponsored by Hewlett-Packard and Northrop Grumman, and hosted by political humorist and entertainer, Kate Clinton. The dinner will open with Dallas ensemble, the Turtle Creek Chorale, as they serenade guests with its 120-person chorale.

We are very excited to welcome special guests--activist, comedian, and actress Margaret Cho and Broadway superstar, Wilson Cruz (Angel from RENT)--who will share their experience about navigating the world of entertainment while remaining true to their own individualities.

JCPenney will proudly showcase fall fashions from its extensive private and exclusive brands.

The evening will also capture remarks by Chairman, CEO and President of Northrop Grumman, Wes Bush, as well as local politicians such as Ft. Worth City Councilman, Joel Burns.

During the evening, Out & Equal will announce the winner of the 2011 Trailblazer Award. This award recognizes an LGBT person who has made a significant contribution to advancing workplace equality. Click here to see the nominees.

The winner of the Workplace Excellence Award will also be announced; this award recognizes an employer that has an historic and ongoing commitment to pursuing and executing workplace equality for LGBT employees. Click here to see the nominees.

Sponsors and summit participants that have a three-day summit registration or a Thursday registration, are welcomed to the event and do not need to register. If you are interested in attending the Gala Dinner, and would like to register, please click here.
